2016 Fin Clipping

Our annual fin clipping was held Saturday 19th March on a very hot day at the hatchery. Originally it was planned for 2 days, but due to the heat and the great work of those present, the 2nd day was abandoned and best efforts were made to let everyone know of the cancellation. Unfortunately 2 car loads turned up on Sunday and we were sorry that their trip was in vain. We fin clipped around 70% of our 70,000 so will have a good idea of the return rate in 2 years time. Everyone there worked exceedingly well in the trying conditions and a cold beer was welcomed at days end.
