On 16th July we visited the incubators up on Mesopotamia station and also in Black mountain stream. The results, although not as good as we hoped, will still have a positive impact on the fishery. The big freeze up in the area dropped stream levels for a couple of incubators resulting in some mortality however we can report that 65,000 eggs hatched and were released into the streams as healthy looking fish. The incubators have been pulled out and returned home with the possibility of modifications for next year.
